In an exciting collaboration, our good friends at Dotty Bridal have come together with Yorkshire’s own Otterbeck Distillery to create a new ‘Dotty Gin’ product. We were commissioned for the bottle label design and we were absolutely delighted to be involved with the project.
Following a hugely successful rebrand of Dotty Bridal a few years ago, we were well placed to concept ideas to fit and complement the brand look and feel. The ‘A Drop of Dotty’ idea was brought to life in a brand-synergetic and typographic way, using a playful brand ident in stylish monochrome. The design was then printed onto a shimmering, pearlised paper stock, which fits beautifully with the bridal and celebratory narrative of Dotty Bridal.
Otterbeck Distillery is based in the glorious Yorkshire Dales and so just the perfect partner for Dotty. The distillery created a unique flavour of strawberry and peppercorn for the Dotty Gin, which we can confirm is absolutely delicious.
Dotty Gin is available for bridal parties who fancy a tipple at their bridal appointment (what better way to celebrate saying ‘yes to the dress’?) or to purchase in store at Dotty HQ. Brand, packaging design, print specification and management on project by Picture Smiths.
We created bespoke typography that feels fluid, iconic and perhaps reminiscent of a golden age of Hollywood glamour for the Dotty Bridal brand. It lends itself perfectly to special occasion gin, in a premium black and white palette.“
